Kentucky State Police Captain Arrested

On July 14th, 2017, Kentucky State Police Captain Robert Shoultz was arrested by Commercial Motor Vehicle Enforcement for DUI. In an email sent out by CVE Captain Shnep, CVE officers were conducting a traffic safety check point out side of henderson on Hwy 60, east of Henderson. In the release , Capt. Schnep advises that his units observed an older white male riding a zero turn lawn mower wearing nothing but a gun belt and a KSP campaign hat. The release stated that Captain Shoultz drove up to the check point and advised he was on his way to the Little Sturgis Rally. The CVE u it’s noticed his eyes were glassy and the odor of alcohol emminatung from his person. Field sobriety tests were administered and Captain Shoultz failed all of them. During Shoultz’s arrest, CVE units had to taze Shoultz because he ran off screaming that he was the most important law enforcement officer in the state and nobody had the power to arrest him. After being tazed, the released stated that Shoultz cried and shit on himself.
Calls to the Kentucky State Police Post went unanswered.
