Lafayette, La-22 year old woman, Jeanerette, La, identified as Destinie Yancy was involved in a car crash at 9:55p.m, on Evangeline Thruway where officers responded to call. A four door, expected to be Honda Accord, ran a light and struck Yancy’s vehicle. The 23 year old was rushed to Lafayette General where they expected early pregnancy, due to a high volume of blood loss. They’re doing an alcohol exam on both drivers of vehicles.
