Guitar Player Magazine has named City of Beacon NY resident, Tony DePaolo, as the recipient of the 2017 “Best Guitarist in the Hudson Valley” Award! “Tony is one of those players that plays from his heart and it carries over into every lick he plays. “The fans appreciate it and come out to watch their “friend” play a set just for them” stated GP talent chief Ricky Rocker.
Rarely do musicians with such talent play more local gigs than touring worldwide, but for Tony DePaolo it’s always just been part of the scene. “I play because it feels good and for my fans, nothing else matters to me. Money would be nice of course” jokes DePaolo, “but us Beaconites have been taxed to death already which doesn’t leave a lot of loot left over”.
Well from what GP hears on the street, Tony DePaolo will always have an appreciative fan base! Well done Tony!
