Man Arrested for Killing Patience with Long Stories
PINE HOLLOW — A 23-year-old man, was arrested Tuesday for allegedly boring six people into unconsciousness with endless, off-topic stories.
Police say he would trap people in casual conversations, then launch into rambling monologues. One victim reportedly fell asleep during a tale about socks and never woke up.
“He started with ‘One time I had a call” or. ”at my old job”. said Officer Rick Blanders. Thirty minutes later, we had to resuscitate someone.
Charged with “verbal manslaughter,” he is being held without bail. Prosecutors warn if allowed to speak in court, the judge may fall into a coma.
