Students may longer be permitted to transfer schools in California due to the COVID-19 pandemic

Due to the COVID 19 pandemic some students have been planning on transferring to different schools in the middle of this pandemic. However this is raising concerns due to the fact the Trump Administration is pushing school boards across the nation to open there doors again. California senator Kamala Harris has urged Eric Garrcetti the mayor of Los Angeles to be the first city in California to close its school doors “ Safety is the number one priority right now so we will take all action that is needed to prevent the spread” said Kamala in a interview. Eric Garcetti has decided to make it a proposition and will be left up to vote in the coming 2020 election if it is passed then schools will close there doors as early as December 2020. One Los Angeles mother does not agree with this. “My daughter was bullied and was challenged in her school and I don’t think it’s fair that students can’t transfer” that was from Ashlee Macies who has a daughter attending Fremont highschool. The only option parents and students are left with is home school.
