On July 2nd 2022 Vladimir Putin made a public anouncement telling his men to withdraw from Ukraine, Shortly after he was found dead in his estate. Forensic experts say he was likely poisened by a Novichok nerve agent used in the cold war. The defence minister, Sergei Shoigu said they would not back out of Ukraine but is reported saying “Yeah, we’re probably going to back out before we get crushed by those war-starting pigs.”
What does this mean for the future of Russia? With Putin gone the government is likely to collapce leaving Russia open to an invasion and since Russia supplies 93% of Gas and Oil to the world, it would be a major hit to the economy and result in mass poverty and unemployment.
